Cardea Healthcare is a specialist healthcare recruitment agency providing home care services and staff into residential settings. We are currently recruiting for charismatic and friendly Care Assistant’s to work in residential and nursing settings a on a shift basis.

Job Summary

The main responsibilities of the job are to support the individual’s living within the services to lead fulfilled lives. We care for a variety of individuals including those who are elderly/frail, physical disabilities, palliative illnesses, and end of life care.

Main duties and responsibilities:

* Assisting with all aspects of personal care

* Encouraging participation in activities

* Social inclusion

* Promoting independence

* Teaching life skills

* Writing accurate and factual daily reports

* Promoting and ensuring privacy and dignity

* Working in a team and on an individual basis

The following attainments and personal attributes are considered essential to the post:

* Self-motivated, responsible, and able to act on your initiative

* Be able to demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills

* The role involves flexible working hours, and you may be asked to work evening shifts and weekends

* Be willing to travel to different locations for shift cover
