Are you a recent graduate with a passion for working with children and a desire to start your career in education? Aspire People is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Leicester to recruit a Graduate Teaching Assistant for a September start.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic graduate to gain hands-on classroom experience, supporting pupils and teachers in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
About the Role:
Full-time, term-time only position
Supporting teaching and learning in EYFS, KS1 or KS2
Working one-to-one and in small groups with pupils who need additional support
Helping to plan and deliver engaging learning activities
Supporting the class teacher with general classroom duties
Providing pastoral support to pupils as needed
Requirements:
A UK bachelor’s degree with a minimum 2:1 classification
Some experience working with children (e.g. tutoring, youth work, mentoring, volunteering in schools)
A genuine interest in pursuing a career in education or teaching
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive, positive attitude and a willingness to learn
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one through Aspire People)
