Job Title: Industrial Cleaning Supervisor Location: Belfast (mostly but cover all of NI) Job Type: Full time/Permanent Reports To: Operations Manager Pay rate: £14 – £15.50 per hour (depending on experience) Extras: Company car and fuel card included Schedule: Mostly Monday to Friday (some weekend work from time to time) Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experiencedIndustrial Cleaning Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all aspects of our clients industrial cleaning operations. This role involves managing a team of cleaning personnel, ensuring adherence to safety and compliance standards, maintaining equipment, and ensuring that all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Full training will be provided if some of the below criteria is not met Key Responsibilities: Supervise and lead a team of industrial cleaning staff across various shifts and job sites Plan and schedule daily cleaning operations according to facility requirements Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning tasks are performed to company and client standards Train, mentor, and evaluate cleaning staff, providing ongoing feedback and support Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations (e.g., OSHA, HSE) Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; report needs or malfunctions promptly Liaise with clients and internal departments to coordinate specialized or urgent cleaning requests Maintain accurate records of work schedules, inspections, incidents, and staff performance Support continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and recommending process enhancements Respond promptly to emergencies and unplanned cleaning situations Enforce company policies and disciplinary procedures as needed Qualifications: Valid drivers license is ESSENTIAL Minimum of 1 years experience in industrial or commercial cleaning, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role would be desirable but not essential Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals is desirable Strong understanding of workplace safety and hazardous material handling Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure Physically fit and able to perform manual labor in demanding environments (e.g., confined spaces, high elevations, etc.) Working Conditions: Work may be conducted in industrial, commercial, or hazardous environments Exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and physically demanding tasks May involve shift work, weekends, or emergency callouts Must be happy to work at heights from time to time Please call Rebekahon for more information or apply with an up to date CV.
