Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £90 – £110 per day (depending on experience)
A vibrant and welcoming primary school in Hammersmith is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.
As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to provide individual and group support to pupils across various year groups. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their career in education in a supportive school environment.
Day to day responsibilities:
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities
Provide one-on-one or small group support to pupils who may need extra help
Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Support pupils with their emotional, social, and academic development
Prepare classroom resources and assist with general administrative tasks
Requirements:
Previous experience as a teaching assistant is desirable but not essential
A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach to working with children
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
A genuine interest in education and child development
Willingness to take direction and learn on the job
The school are open to take on recent graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone passionate about education. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
