SEN Teaching Assistant – Lichfield
Location: Lichfield
Salary: £444–£455 per week

ABC Teachers is looking for committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming SEND school in Lichfield. Full-time and part-time roles are available, starting in the new academic year.

The Role:

‍ Support the class teacher in delivering a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
Provide 1:1 support and lead small nurture groups tailored to individual learning needs.
Gain broad experience across different classes and a variety of special educational needs.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you should:

✅ Have previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs.
Be approachable and able to build positive relationships with students.
Demonstrate excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
️ Be able to provide suitable references and undergo a DBS check.
*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
