Our Public Sector client based in Middlesbrough requires an experience Administrative Assistant to join their Adult Social Care Team.
Working in the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Team (DoLS), this role is for six months and the hourly rate is paying £13.26 per hour. The team is very friendly and supportive and the role is exciting and rewarding!
Duties & Responsibilities will include:
1. Be responsible for undertaking administrative tasks as part of the management of a legal process.
2. To assist the manager and senior administrator in the maintenance of electronic care record systems, processes and procedures associated with the Mental Capacity Act.
3. Deal with routine administrative and telephone queries involving referrals to the team and be confident in recognising the most appropriate team member to refer to.
4. Maintain existing positive relationships with the people who use our service, their families, carers, and professionals including Social Workers, Doctors, Nursing staff, Carers, Advocates and Solicitors by telephone and email.
5. Set up and maintain computerised records/management or service specific management information systems.
6. Planning and scheduling of appointments and events in the team diary; attendance and participation at team meetings.
7. To provide administrative support to the DoLS Team including preparing documents for distribution and forwarding these to stakeholders.
8. Undertake general financial administration such as processing invoices.
