M4 Recruitment is currently seeking reliable and physically fit Van Drivers based in Avonmouth. This role involves multi-drop delivery work and is ideal for experienced drivers looking for flexible shifts and a dynamic working environment.
Role Overview
As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of food products to a range of clients, including retail stores, restaurants, and independent wholesalers. The position requires a high level of physical fitness due to regular manual handling of cages and up to 15 deliveries per shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete multi-drop deliveries in a timely and professional manner
- Load and unload cages manually
- Ensure all goods are handled and transported safely
- Maintain excellent customer service standards on delivery
- Complete relevant paperwork and use handheld devices where required
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum age 23 (for insurance purposes)
- Full UK driving licence (Category B) held for at least 2 years
- Proven experience in multi-drop or commercial driving
- Good knowledge of local and regional routes
- Physically fit and able to handle manual work
- Strong time management and communication skills
