I am please to be working with my new client in Somerset, who are a leading provider in their industry. They are looking to recruit a Transport & Hire Coordinator for their site in Somerset on a permanent basis.
The duties of the Transport and Hire Coordinator will include:
* Providing a high level of customer service
* Processing customer requests and enquiries
* Quoting and negotiating rates
* Maintaining strong relationships with key customers
* Compiling reports
* Obtaining new business
* Raising purchase orders
* General administration
* Attending meetings with other departments
The ideal candidate for the role will be:
* Highly organised
* Have transport planning experience
* Previous sales experience would be beneficial
* Excellent communication and customer service experience
* Good experience with Excel, outlook, word
