1-1 Teaching Assistant – Blackburn:
Prospero teaching are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to work with a pupil 1-1 at a lovely school near to Blackburn. This is initially a part time position, with a view to increase to full time.
The Role:
Providing 1-1 support to pupils with complex needs
Assisting with the development and implementation of individual learning strategies
Building rapport with the parents, staff and pupils
Ensuring safety and well being of the pupil at all times
Providing emotional and behavioural support to promote a positive learning environmentPosition Details:
Location: Blackburn
Position: 1-1 TA
Type of Work: Temporary
Hours: Mon-Wed, 8:20am-3:20pm
Full time/Part time: Part time only
Minimum Rate of Pay: £90 per day, depending on experience
Start date: ASAP
End date: OngoingExperience, Training & Qualifications:
Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly desired
Team Teach training would be highly desiredTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold right to work in the UK
Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references OTHER
