Level 2 Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Intervention Support
Location: Sheffield, S9.
Daily Rate: £98-£110
Start date: 14th April 2025 (After Easter)
Role Overview:
We are looking for Level 2 Teaching assistants looking to work full time, 5 days a week. You will be providing 1:1 support to pupils with complex needs, including SEND, high-needs Autism, and non-verbal support. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that students with additional needs are given the opportunity to thrive in their learning environment. You will be supporting pupils in KS3/KS4 who may be working at a level lower than their age range. We are looking for someone who promotes positive values, attitude and good pupil behaviour. Dealing with conflict and incidents in line with the school’s policy.
Key Requirements:
-Hold a Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or relevant experience
-Have a good understanding of core subjects.
-Have experience working with children, especially those with SEND and Autism.
-Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies.
-A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for helping children succeed.
-Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with children who have complex needs.
-Have and enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one (PK can support you through this process).
