THE ROLE – 1:1 Learning Support Assistant
As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with an individual child, supporting them in the classroom and helping them access the curriculum. You will provide tailored academic and emotional support, ensuring the pupil is able to engage in lessons, build confidence, and overcome any barriers to learning. You will also assist the child with personal care, if required, and work alongside the teacher to implement strategies from the child’s Individual Education Plan (IEP).
