Teaching Assistant – June 2025 Start
Provide one-to-one support to a male student with cerebral palsy, ensuring his full access to learning and participation in school life
Location: North West London
Salary: £25,675 – £26,068 per annum (FTE)
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent (via agency initially)

Zest Education London is working in partnership with a high-performing and inclusive secondary school in North West London to recruit a compassionate and committed Teaching Assistant to join their team from June 2025.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs. The role will be offered on a temporary basis via the agency initially, with the strong possibility of transitioning to a permanent school contract following a successful probationary period.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide one-to-one support to a male student with cerebral palsy, ensuring his full access to learning and participation in school life

*

Offer in-class and targeted support to students aged 11 to 16 with a range of learning difficulties and additional needs

*

Work closely with the SEND team and teaching staff to implement personalised learning strategies and care plans

*

Assist with mobility, classroom resources, and specialist equipment where required

*

Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
