* 1:1 Teaching Assistant required for a SEMH School in Newham.
* 1:1 Teaching Assistant available to start ASAP.
* 1:1 Teaching Assistant with strong behaviour management skills.
* Previous experience working within a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) is essential or experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable.

The Role – 1:1 Teaching Assistant
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored care to a student within the age range of 14 – 16. The student has been excluded from a mainstream school due to challenging behaviour, hence a 1:1 Teaching Assistant will require strong behaviour management skills. Experience working in a PRU would be ideal for this role. Also, 1:1 Teaching Assistants with a degree from any discipline are also valued, as the experience will help support the students’ academic success.
The School – 1:1 Teaching Assistant
This PRU School is based in Newham, with close transport links to the DLR. This PRU School is small with a total of 18 pupils. The school seeks to remove any barriers the students face, equipping students with the tools needed to reintegrate back into Mainstream Schools. This school also maintains a Good rating as of their 2022 Ofsted inspection.
