WORKING 4 DAYS BETWEEN MONDAY – SATURDAY: 06.30 – 17.30

£13.75 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for 7.5 Tonne Delivery Drivers to join our well-established client based in Livingston, West Lothian.

Day to Day Duties

Driving Category C1 vehicles safely and efficiently
Delivering and installing furniture in customer’s homes
Conducting vehicle inspections
Working through a delivery schedule with the support of your crew mate
Work as part of a wider distribution centre team in helping to load and unload furniture onto vehicles
Providing an excellent service to our customers and encouraging their feedback
Making sure the team is safe by carrying out checks and driving safely
Heavy lifting and carrying involved

Essential Skills

Previous experience within a commercial driving role
Hold a valid UK Category C1 Driving Licence
Hold a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Experienced with the use and regulation of digital tachographs
Knowledge and understanding of safety requirements for the operation of vehicles
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow processes and procedures
Strives to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction
Reasonably physically fit and able to undertake manual handling, as this role involves heavy lifting
