SF Recruitment are working with a SME style business in South Derbyshire to recruit for an Accounts Clerk, full time and permanently to join a small close knit team. This role could suit you if you were looking for either full time, or 4 full days work. This role is due to an internal move within the department, reporting into the Management Accountant you will look after the following:

– Manage queries to suppliers, customers and third-party vendors
– Process bank payments
– Reconcile statements
– Prepare, send and store invoices
– Contact clients and send reminders to ensure timely payments
– Identify and address discrepancies
– Generate weekly reports on the status of accounts payable and receivable
– Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets
