Your new role
Working within the finance team, you will take responsibility for the day to day accounting transactions and this will include; end to end accounts payable processing of invoices, resolving queries, statement reconciliation and ensuring PO’s and GRN’s are correct. You will also post and allocate the cash received, banking and assist your colleague with the credit control chasing. Working in a team, you will ensure that the ledgers are up-to-date and ready for the month-end closure.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be able to demonstrate a strong track record as an Accounts Assistant with key experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable. Preferred experience of accounting and/or ERP systems along with strong Excel skills. With a robust and confident manner, you will develop strong relationships with both suppliers and customers to maintain any disputes and queries. A flexible and methodical approach will ensure your success along with a team-orientated manner.
