A great opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join an Internationally successful growing company based in Maidenhead were you will become a valued member of the finance team.
Responsibilities:
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment processing, and significant transactional processing.
Regular shipping costs, duties, and tax reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely review of worldwide shipping costs and its impact.
Conduct regular bank reconciliations and journal entries.
Support preparation of financial statements, management accounts and financial management information in an accurate and timely fashion.
Assist with budget preparation and analysis.
Collaborate with team members to identify areas of process improvement and implement solutions.
Respond to and resolve enquiries to the team and support data maintenance throughout the business.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed to support the finance and accounting team.Requirements:
You should be educated to A-level standard or equivalent.
IT proficient and proficient with the full Microsoft suite, with specific focus on Excel.
Possess a minimum of a years experience in a Finance/accounting position.
A ‘can do’ attitude to supporting the team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors and discrepancies.
Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong time-management and organisational skills.
Experience in Microsoft Excel preferred.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles useful but not a prerequisite.You will enjoy working in a supportive and friendly team environment, where full training is provided. You will receive a competitive package and enjoy car parking on site and hybrid working.
