Job Title: Active Directory Specialist
Location: Avnet House, Rutherford Cl, Stevenage SG1 2EF
Trust: East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust
Job Type/Shift Patterns: Full time, Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm, 37.5 hours a week (100% Onsite)
Pay Rate: £27.05/Hr.
Responsibilities:
* Perform regular AD health checks and troubleshoot issues with GPO policies and root policy objects.
* Tailor GPOs for Windows 11 base images to meet organizational standards.
* Ensure AD security and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
* Lead AD migrations, upgrades, and disaster recovery initiatives.
* Automate AD management tasks using PowerShell scripting.
* Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior team members.
* Maintain and update AD configurations, ensuring optimal performance.
* Document and communicate AD best practices across the organization
Required Experience:
* 5+ years of experience in Active Directory administration, including GPO management.
* Advanced knowledge of Windows Server and Windows 11 configurations.
* Strong experience with PowerShell scripting and AD automation.
* Expertise in AD security, compliance, and troubleshooting complex issues.
* Experience with AD migrations, backups, and disaster recovery
Key Requirements:
* Proficiency in Active Directory, GPO management, and PowerShell.
* Advanced understanding of Windows Server and Windows 10 & 11.
* Experience with AD migrations and security compliance.
