Murray Recruitment is currently seeking an Office Administrator for our client, an electrical company based in Lanarkshire.

Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Enquiries: Handle incoming enquiries via phone and email, providing excellent customer service and support.
- Order Processing: Accurately process orders, ensuring all details are correctly input and updated.
- Customer Communication: Keep customers informed on work updates and respond promptly to any queries or concerns.
- Administration: Maintain and update spreadsheets, type correspondence using Microsoft Word, and ensure records are kept organised and accurate.
- Engineer Liaison: Coordinate with engineers to manage customer queries, ensuring efficient communication and issue resolution.
- General Office Support: Provide administrative support to the Office Manager, assisting with various tasks as needed.
Experience/skills:
- Experience: Some experience in an administrative role is desirable, but not essential. This position is ideal for someone looking to build their career in administration.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Familiarity with spreadsheets and general typing duties is essential.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
- Organisation: Ability to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment and remain confident under pressure.
- Team Player: Willingness to support colleagues and work collaboratively to meet the company’s goals.
Offering:
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Thursday 9am – 5pm, and Friday 9am – 4pm.
- Holidays: 32 days including bank holidays, with a 2-week Christmas shut down.
