About the role

Our Counselling & Recovery service provides a safe and supportive space for adults affected by their own or someone else’s drug use. As the first point of contact, you’ll play a key role in helping people feel supported from the very first conversation.

From taking referral calls and managing client communications to monitoring and evaluation, you’ll be ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the service, you’ll be working alongside a dedicated and friendly team who are passionate about making a difference.

What you’ll be doing:

Providing a warm and professional first point of contact for people reaching out for support.
Handling referrals and supporting administrative processes to keep everything running smoothly.
Collaborating with the Counselling & Recovery Counselling Manager and the wider team to ensure clients receive the best possible support.

What we’re looking for:

Strong communication and customer service skills you’ll be speaking with people who may be in vulnerable situations, so kindness and professionalism go hand in hand.
Confident using Microsoft Office 365 particularly Excel.
A team player with a flexible approach happy to adapt and work together to achieve shared goals.
Experience working with individuals affected by substance use? That’s a plus, but not essential what matters most is a willingness to learn and support others.
