About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity to support a specialist drug and alcohol recovery service as a Receptionist/Administrator. The role is client-facing and varied, with the Reception being your primary focus. You will be the first point of contact for individuals accessing the service, offering a warm, professional welcome and providing practical support as they engage in their recovery journey.

Alongside reception duties, you will provide administrative support to ensure smooth service delivery. This includes managing records, updating client data, supporting appointment systems, and ensuring accurate and timely communication between clients and staff. You may also occasionally cover prescribing-related administrative tasks when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Provide a professional reception service, greeting clients and visitors

Maintain client records accurately and in line with data protection guidelines

Support with administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and document management

*

Assist with printing prescriptions and communicating with partner services (GPs, pharmacies)

Respond promptly and sensitively to client enquiries

*

Work closely with the wider team to ensure service users receive a responsive and respectful experience
