Audio Typist

• Job Type: Part-time (3 days a week)
• Working Hours: 9am – 5pm

We are seeking an experienced Audio Typist to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of audio typing with a high level of accuracy and speed. This role is based in Ipswich and offers a competitive hourly rate for a 9am to 5pm work schedule, three days a week.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Transcribe audio recordings accurately and efficiently.
• Edit and proofread transcriptions for grammar, clarity, and consistency.
• Manage and organise audio files for transcription.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of documents.
• Maintain confidentiality of all audio files and documents.
• Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in audio typing is essential.
• Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
• Strong command of the English language, including grammar and punctuation.
• Proficient in using transcription software and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good listening skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with industry-specific terminology is advantageous.
