We are looking for an Autism Support Assistant with:

  • A 2:1 or 1:1 degree in Psychology from a leading UK university.
  • Previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • A proactive, enthusiastic approach to working with children.
  • Confidence in behaviour management and adapting to individual student needs.

Role Overview for the Autism Support Assistant:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with autism and other SEN.
  • Assist with Educational, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and liaise with professionals.
  • Work both inside and outside of the classroom, offering tailored support.
  • Encourage social interaction, communication, and progress in a range of settings.
  • Build strong relationships with students to promote a positive learning experience.
