We are looking for an Autism Support Assistant with:
- A 2:1 or 1:1 degree in Psychology from a leading UK university.
- Previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- A proactive, enthusiastic approach to working with children.
- Confidence in behaviour management and adapting to individual student needs.
Role Overview for the Autism Support Assistant:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with autism and other SEN.
- Assist with Educational, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and liaise with professionals.
- Work both inside and outside of the classroom, offering tailored support.
- Encourage social interaction, communication, and progress in a range of settings.
- Build strong relationships with students to promote a positive learning experience.
