About Us:We are a well-established, progressive school supporting children and young people with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and associated communication and sensory needs. Our school follows a person-centred approach, blending the National Curriculum with autism-specific strategies like TEACCH, PECS, and SCERTS.
Your Role Will Include:

Supporting pupils in class, helping them access learning through visual supports, structured routines, and sensory regulation.

Assisting with social communication and emotional regulation strategies.

Working closely with teachers, speech and language therapists, and occupational therapists to deliver a tailored curriculum.

Providing one-to-one and small group interventions.

Supporting personal development, independence, and life skills.
Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people with autism or SEND is desirable.

A calm, empathetic, and patient approach.

Confidence using or learning alternative communication methods (PECS, Makaton).

Willingness to undertake personal care if required.

Strong team working and adaptability.
