SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for an ongoing temporary Bank Reconciliations Assistant in Birmingham.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong numerical and organisational skills looking for short-term finance experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately matched and recorded
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies in a timely manner
- Identify and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate stakeholders
- Update and maintain accurate records of reconciliations in the financial system
- Assist with the preparation of month-end and year-end reports as required
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, such as Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, to resolve outstanding items
- Support ad hoc finance tasks as directed by the Finance Manager or senior team members
Key Experience :
- Previous experience in bank reconciliations or a similar finance role
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in using accounting software and excel
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
