Bar staff required, for our client – a prestigious hotel located in the Kingsbridge, Devon area. IMMEDIATE START.
The ideal candidate for this role of Bar Person will have previous beverage service experience from within a hotel or from within a stand alone Bar to include some cocktails experience ideally.
The role Bar Person will require you to work as part of a team to provide exceptional service and smooth delivery of service. This is a hands on role working shifts 5 over 7.
Key Responsibilities:
* Giving a warm welcome to all guests and interacting with them during their visit.
* Display excellent product knowledge to help guests in making their choices.
* Take orders accurately and ensure any dietary requirements are communicated clearly to the kitchen.
* Prepare drinks, cocktails and hot beverages and serve these to guests.
* Ensure all front of house and back of house areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
* Serving food to guests.
* Ensuring all Health & Safety, Food Hygiene procedures are adhered to at all times.
* Maintain and restock the bars.
The salary for Bar Staff, is given as £11.44-£12.21 / hour / plus a share of the tips / plus a yearly profit related bonus. Other benefits available, including use of the leisure facilities.
Live in is a possibility. If living out locally, transport would be required
