The role – Behaviour Mentor – Camden

The role of a Behaviour Mentor involves supporting and mentoring students who have challenging behaviours or who have social and emotional needs that are challenging. Students can work closely with Behaviour Mentors in the classroom or out of it, depending on the situation. Your role will be to motivate and support the people around you. Developing strong relationship with the students will be a major benefit that you will be able to achieve if you are an open and approachable Behaviour mentor in order to build strong relationships between you and the students. It is based around small groups of identified students who have similar needs and you will be working to meet those needs by providing them with resources which may help them achieve their goals. The interventions work around small groups of identified students who all have the same needs.

As part of their behavioural team, the school is currently seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join them as a member.
