Description
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a SEMH provision in Northumberland, for a confident Behaviour Support Specalist. The role will require you to work alongside a class teacher to support learning, you may also be expected to work 1:1 with children across multiple year groups.

The ideal candidate will be able to:
Work effectively as part of a team within the classroom ensuring that all the children are looked after and learning from the taught content.
Work 1:1 with children with SEN.
Be confident in responding to challenging behaviours
Work coherently with teachers in providing support for students.
Have a passion for assisting students.
Be enthusiastic and proactive in the classroom..
Promote and encourage independence and personal development.
Candidates that have been successful within this setting have had some experience in any of the following:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
