Behaviour Support Worker
Location: Specialist School, BarnsleyEmployment Type: Full-Time (Part-Time Considered for the Right Candidate)

Key Responsibilities:
- Support Students: Work closely with students who exhibit challenging behaviour, providing them with the necessary support to thrive academically and socially.
- Behaviour Management: Implement behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
- Individual Plans: Develop and follow individual behaviour plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
- Crisis Intervention: Use de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention strategies when necessary.
Requirements:
- Experience: Direct or transferable experience in a similar role, with a proven ability to manage challenging behaviour.
- Qualifications: Additional training or qualifications such as Team Teach or PRICE are highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience, and resilience.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work full-time, with part-time options available for the right candidate.
