Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant – Accountancy Practice – Blaby
Location: Blaby, Leicestershire
Salary: From £25,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: Full-time | Monday – Friday | 9:00am – 5:00pm
Contract: Permanent | Office-based for first 6 months

About the Role:
As the Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for a portfolio of clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Processing client invoices, payments, and receipts
* Reconciling bank statements and accounts
* Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports
* Assisting with payroll processing for clients
* Ensuring financial data accuracy and regulatory compliance

What We’re Looking For:
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
* A strong background in bookkeeping or accounting
* Excellent knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Confident communicator, both written and verbal
Previous experience in a practice environment is highly desirable but not essential for the right candidate with transferable experience.
