Job Title: Business Development Representative London and South

Department: Sales Team

Job Purpose:

The Business Development Manager plays an important role in delivering profitable sales to A to Z Catering Supplies Ltd.

The main purpose is to grow the independent business in the London & South East area, focusing on hospitality, including Café, Bistros, hotels, restaurants, leisure facilities and schools.

Principal Responsibilities:

To increase the sales in your designated area by bringing new business to the Company.

To grow and develop the existing customer base, by introducing them to our full range of products.

Following up on leads given from the Sales team

Follow company procedures on pricing and payment terms.

Manage the relationship with the customer to ensure all opportunities and queries are managed to retain the customers long term loyalty.

Provide accurate reporting and information within the correct timeframe.

The Applicant

Candidates must be self-motivated and have good organisational skills and can work both as part of a team and individually. The successful candidate will be working Monday to Friday on a pre-set scheduled to cover geographic areas identified by the sales manager. Experience in selling to the food industry would advantageous, but not essential. The job will require the candidate to mainly work on the road with occasional visits to our office in Hornsey, North London.
