Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cabinet Maker to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and joinery, with the ability to fabricate high-quality cabinets and furniture. This role requires attention to detail, and the ability to work with various materials and tools.
Responsibilities
* Interpret and understand technical drawings and specifications for custom cabinetry.
* Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and assemble wood materials.
* Perform heavy lifting as needed to transport materials and finished products.
* Execute joinery techniques to create strong and durable connections between components.
* Fabricate cabinets and other furniture
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools are stored properly after use.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times while on the job site.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or in a similar role within carpentry or woodworking.
* Proficiency in using power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders.
* Strong knowledge of joinery techniques and woodworking principles.
* Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Good communication skills for liaising with clients and other tradespeople.
Hours of work are 6AM – 4:30PM Monday to Thursday.
Pay rate – £14 H/R
Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 weeks
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
