About the role
Canteen Cook
Cook required working full time, covering evening shift, Sunday to Thursday 16.00pm – 12.00pm, 40 hours per week in our staff restaurant at our Paddock Wood depot. We will be prepared to be flexible with these hours for the right candidate.
Duties will include:
To assist the supervisor in delivering a high quality service in preparing/cooking meals and snacks
General kitchen duties
Cleaning tables
Carrying out daily temperature monitoring checks and recording
What do you need to succeed as our Cook /Restaurant Assistant?
A valid Food Hygiene Certificate – Level 2.
Previous working experience in a kitchen/canteen environment is essential
The ability to cook meals from fresh
Excellent communication skills
Pleasant outgoing personality and smart appearance (uniform provided)
To be able to work face to face with colleagues as a counter environment.
