We are seeking a caring and compassionate Care Assessor in the North Tyneside area. Must hold a full drivers licence!

Position: Care Assessor – Team Leader

Location: North Tyneside

Job type: Permanent, full-time – 37.5hr per week – Agreed shift patterns with weekend working on a rota basis

Salary: £25,725 per annum + up to £2,600 through generous on-call payments, Mileage – 45p per mile for drivers, PLUS bonus schemes: up to £300 new starter, £300 Refer a Friend scheme.

About the role:

As a Care Assessor you will work alongside families, health and care professionals and community groups to co-design care and support plans that meet individual outcomes.

You will co-design care, and support plans with the people supported and their families, ensuring their personal care needs are met, dignity is maintained, and individual outcomes and preferences are reflected. You will take a positive risk-taking approach, reflecting this in risk assessments and supporting colleagues to deliver high-quality care. You will be meticulous, completing concise and easy-to-understand notes for other colleagues reading care plans and risk assessments.

About You:

You will be an engaging and caring individual, with the following skills and experience:

• Experience in coaching, mentoring, or training colleagues in care settings or health and care tasks.

• Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.

• You must have a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work purposes.
