Chef -£12 Per Hour

Here at Cockliffe Country House, we are looking to recruit a Chef to work within the kitchen team, where we host parties, corporate meetings, weddings and other events.

As Chef your main responsibilities would be:

• To prepare, cook and serve everything from breakfast to evening buffets.
• Follow company specs and recipes
• Management of stock
• Help with set up and prep as needed for next event.
• Ensure all Health & Hygiene procedures are implemented and continually adhered to
• Ability to work & train on each section of the kitchen.

We are looking for a Chef with the following:

• Experience within a similar role
• Excellent culinary skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate others
• Willingness to step up to other tasks as needed
• NVQ Level 2/3 in professional cookery or equivalent

Experience:

• Chef: 3 years (preferred)
• Cooking: 3 years (preferred)

Schedule:

• Day shifts
• 8 hour shift
• Evening shifts
• Weekend shifts

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)

Cockliffe County House, Burntstump Country Park, Burntstump Hill, Nottingham, NG5 8PQ.

Your own transport is essential as there is no bus route.
