Chief Financial Officer Role

ELC Salary: £72,402 – £81,566 per annum (37 hours per week)
NHS Salary: £83,837 – £89,866 per annum (37.5 hours per week)

This unique position provides direct support to the Joint Integration Boards for East Lothian. You will have lead responsibility for the strategic financial management of the total allocated budget, c£330m, providing advice and support to ensure the delivery of the IJBs directions for service provision and performance reporting.

You will be an effective communicator, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships. A crucial component of this role is balancing the needs of the IJB with those of the Council and Health Board and their directors of finance. As such, you will be meticulous in your approach, with strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to motivate and enthuse colleagues, partners and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Relevant Qualifications
A degree and relevant post-graduate qualification.
Holds a professional accountancy qualification from a recognised Accountancy body (i.e. CCAB Qualified or CIMA)* and current membership of a relevant professional body*.

Evidence of continuing professional and personal development.
