Job Purpose: To clean and maintain all allocated areas of the College to a high standard as shown. Cleaners will be required to work in areas of the College often alone but in close co-operation with other members of the cleaning team. Salary: Grade 2, SCP 5-7 currently £12.13 – £12.33 gross per hour Hours: the post holder will be required to work 16 hours per week. Hours of work are:- Monday 16.00 pm to 20.00 pm (4 hours) Tuesday 16.00 pm to 19.00 pm (3 hours) Wednesday 16.00 pm to 19.00 pm (3 hours) Thursday 16.00 pm to 19.00 pm (3 hours) Friday 16.00 pm to 19.00 pm (3 hours) Holidays: 43 days holiday made up of 25 days annual leave, 7 closure days at Christmas and Easter, and 11 designated bank holidays calculated on a pro-rata basis. Pension:The role holder on commencement will be enrolled in the NI Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS): a defined benefit and contributory pension scheme. The Northern Ireland Local Government Officers Superannuation Committee (NILGOSC) is the administrator.
