The Mencap Community and Events Team is looking for a Community Fundraising Assistant to join us on a full time (37.5 hours per week) permanent basis. This role is based from our London office, twice a week, but we know flexibility is key to a well-balanced work life so the rest of the week you would be working from home/remotely while in the community at our events.
There will also be occasions where you will be involved with events outside of the working week, for example, bucket collections and attending community events at peak times.

What will you do as a Community Fundraising Assistant?
You will work closely with the Community Fundraising Managers to assist with various community campaigns, events and activities.
You will provide support for stewardship, conducting research and administrative tasks, managing the team inbox and
assisting with campaign recruitment and delivery.
You will support the Community Fundraising Managers by engaging with existing and new regional supporters including: individuals, groups, associations, local corporates and schools whilst monitoring the current portfolio of Mencap owned products.You can see full details of the experience and skills on the attached Job Description.
