Learning Support Assistant Complex Needs – Blackburn Prospero Teaching are working closely with an organisation who provide educational support to students with complex needs, such as autism, SLCN and sensory needs. The site is based quite central in Blackburn and is easily accessed by road and public transport links and offers free parking on site. The Role will consist of: Providing tailored support and working with children and young people with SEN and complex needs Creating a safe environment that allows children and other students have fun, learn and succeed Academic support The Ideal candidate: Experience of supporting pupils with SEN on a voluntary or paid basis OR/ experience of supporting those with complex needs in a care setting Driven, energetic and keen to pursue a career in education and special needs Position Details: LOCATION Blackbun POSITION Complex Needs Learning Support Assistant CONTRACT TYPE Temporary MINIMUM DAILY RATE GBP85 HOURS Full time Monday Friday 8.30am – 4pm START DATE October 2024 To be considered for this role, you will have to register with Prospero Teaching complete a Child & Adult DBS which is on the update service, unless you already have one. have up to date safeguarding training issued in the last year (training can be provided) have up to date prevent awareness & FGM training issued in the last 3 years (training can be provided) have up to date behaviour management training (this is not essential but highly recommneded)
