Conveyancing Assistant

My Client a well established Law Firm are looking to recruit a Conveyancing Assistant to join their team.
Main Duties:
– Assisting fee earners in the smooth running of cases by drafting relevant documents throughout the process
– Carrying out searches and reporting to the fee earner.
– Communicating with estate agents, other solicitors and third parties.
– Compliance with office policies and procedures and the use of standard systems and templates.
– Compliance with all lender policies and requirements with regards mortgages.
– Accurate preparation of completions statements, invoices in accordance with accounting procedures.
– Assisting in keeping the client updated throughout the process.
Skills Required:
– Experience within Conveyancing
– One year’s experience in a professional environment.
– Working knowledge of solicitors’ administration practices and experience of setting out documents across the range of subject areas.
– Assertive, articulate, flexible and co-operative.
– Self-confident in dealing with client enquiries.
– Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
