We are seeking a Legal Secretary to join a leading Conveyancing Department, offering a fantastic opportunity for those looking for a new challenge. This role requires handling cases from initial instruction through to completion, supporting Fee Earners pre-exchange, and working independently post-exchange and post-completion.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage cases from initial instruction to completion, ensuring all processes are followed accurately and efficiently.
  • Support Fee Earners with the preparation and management of documents and correspondence pre-exchange.
  • Take full responsibility for post-exchange and post-completion tasks, working independently to ensure all legal requirements are met.
  • Utilise various conveyancing portals and case management systems effectively to track and manage cases.
  • Maintain high standards of client service, ensuring all interactions are handled with a personal touch and professional manner.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Legal Secretary within a Property or Conveyancing department.
  • Strong familiarity with conveyancing portals and case management systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Outstanding organisational skills and the capacity to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and a sympathetic manner, reflecting our commitment to providing excellent client service with a personal touch.
