Vetro Education are seeking to recruit an experienced and dedicated Cover Supervisor to work in a Secondary school in Cardiff. The school supports learners in Key Stage 3 and 4 and the school has tasked Vetro to find a Cover Supervisor, who can hit the ground running and become a part of the Secondary team from day one.

The role itself is for 5 days per week, supervising Year 7, 8, and 9, as well as GCSE classes. This role is for an immediate start with the likelihood of the successful Cover Supervisor being at the school until the end of the summer term 2024 and continuing in September
Overview:

Title: Cover Supervisor
Pay: £100 per day minimum
Location: Cardiff
Hours: Part-time, Flexible. Long Term – Monday to Friday 830am – 310pm

The role: What you’ll be doing as a Cover Supervisor

Supervise a classroom of learners – Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Preparing the classroom for lessons
Supervise lessons in line with the national curriculum
Work in accordance with the school’s behaviour management policies

The candidate: What you’ll need to be successful as a Cover Supervisor

At least 3 months experience in a related industry role
Registration as a Cover Supervisor with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) – we can help you with this
References covering the last two years (no gaps)
Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
