A Cover Supervisor plays a vital role in the education of secondary pupils by providing a seamless gap in learning in the short-term absence of Teacher.

Basic role responsibilities:

· Supervising students and maintaining a structured environment in the absence of the regular teacher.

· Delivering pre-planned lessons.

· Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain on task.

· Assisting with educational resources.

· Collaborating with teaching staff and senior leaders.
