Credit Controller required for a North Manchester based company. £27-28+bonus.
Your new company
Based on the outskirts of Manchester City Centre, our client, a market leading specialist, is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join the team.
Your new role
Working for this acclaimed company, you will join a small, close-knit accounts department and work alongside the existing Senior Credit Controller.
Working on your own portfolio of clients, you will be tasked to keep company debts to a minimum and run a clean ledger. Contacting customers mainly via email with some phone-based chasing, you will ensure monies are in within the set due date parameters, with any queries and issues addressed promptly to avoid payment delays.
A varied role where your excellent customer service and customer rapport ability combined with your numerical skills will really take the lead. As well as your standard credit control tasks, other duties will include:-Dealing with customer’s queries including sending copy invoices, proof of deliveries, etc;Carrying out credit checksCredit notesSending out monthly statements and on stop notices to customersPosting and allocating incoming paymentsMaintenance of customer recordsDaily updates of the cash flow forecastPerforming any other tasks that may be necessary to guaranteeIf you are a results-driven and self-motivator who is seeking a role where you can settle and grow within, this may be the role for you.

What you’ll need to succeed
Previous experience of working in Credit Control
Take full ownership of a ledger (Circa 1000 accounts)
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Work as part of a small team
Carry out credit checks
Credit insurance experience (Ideal but not essentia;
Proficient in Excel with SAP experience ideal (but not essential)
Numerical
Attention to detail
