Credit Controller Newtownards / Dundonald £27,000 pa 9AM-5PM (Flexible) Black Fox Solutions are currently working with a bathroom retailer who are looking for an experienced credit controller to join the team. The company are currently going through an exciting period of growth and are expanding their team. Key Responsibilities: Allocate cash for three regions: Northern Ireland, Great Britain, and the Republic of Ireland. Maintain monthly debtors' spreadsheets for all three regions, including key performance indicators. Maintain customer accounts, including credit limit reviews and updates. Perform debt collection activities, ensuring timely payments from customers. Conduct Experian credit checks on new and existing customers. Liaise with the sales team regarding customer accounts. Manage the bad debt process, ensuring appropriate actions are taken. Generate financial reports for management. Handle accounts emails and customer queries, including: Requests for missing invoices/credit notes. Requirements: Minimum 2 years in a credit control, accounts receivable, or similar finance role. Demonstrated understanding of credit control processes, debt collection, and cash allocation. Ability to interpret financial data, maintain accurate records, and produce reports. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with customers and internal teams. Experience with Excel and accounting software packages. Training on the internal ERP system will be provided. Proven ability to resolve customer disputes and account discrepancies effectively.
