Specialist criminal law firm based in Hounslow have an opening for a full-time crime paralegal. This is a permanent role with good career prospects with support to become police station accredited and potentially a training contract at a future date depending on the candidate. Role involves: ·Opening files ·Liaising with clients and fee-earners and other relevant parties ·Arranging telephone calls with clients to book appointments and provide updates ·Case preparation under supervision ·Helping to complete legal aid applications under supervision ·Day to day assistance to the fee-earners with their caseloads ·Ad hoc admin duties as needed Required skills and qualification: ·Law degree – ideally 2:1 or higher ·At least 6 to 12 months paralegal experience in criminal law ·Completion of LPC a bonus but not essential ·Police station accreditation a bonus but not essential Benefits: ·Support to gain police station accreditation if not already accredited ·Potential of a future training contract for the right individual ·Chance to gain high quality criminal law experience in a specialist firm Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
