Are you the kind of person who runs towards a challenge, not away from it?
Do you believe every child deserves safety, stability, and someone in their corner—even in their toughest moments?
We’re looking for passionate, dependable Crisis Support Workers to step in when children and young people in residential care need it most. If you have heart, resilience, and a drive to make a real difference, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
*
Step in during urgent situations to provide hands-on support, reassurance, and a steady presence for vulnerable children in residential care.
*
Respond with empathy and calm in crisis, helping young people manage trauma, challenging behaviours, or emotional distress.
*
Collaborate with care teams to restore routine, build trust, and support children’s personal growth and safety.
*
Uphold the highest safeguarding and compliance standards with thorough verification and vetting processes.
*
Record key information and contribute to care plans that truly shape outcomes.
Is This You?
*
You’re resilient. Unpredictable situations don’t faze you—you adapt and stay grounded, even under pressure.
*
You care deeply. You’re empathetic, patient, and know how to connect with young people who’ve had a tough start.
*
You’re reliable. Teams and children alike know they can count on you, every shift.
*
You’re a problem-solver. Quick-thinking and resourceful, you can de-escalate conflict and create calm in chaos.
*
You want to grow. Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, you value learning, development, and genuine feedback.
Experience in children’s residential care, youth work, or mental health is ideal, but attitude and heart matter most.
