Customer Care Coordinator (Part-Time) – Housing Sector
Location: Tamworth (moving to Fort Dunlop, Birmingham)
Salary: £27,000–£28,000 (pro rata for 3 days/week)
Bonus: £3,700 annually (pro rata)
Days: Tuesday to Thursday
Hours: Standard business hours (flexible on start/finish times)
Type: Permanent, Part-Time (3 days/week)
The Opportunity
Sourced Recruitment Group is working on behalf of a national 5-star housebuilder to recruit a Customer Care Coordinator into their growing West Midlands team.
This is a brilliant part-time opportunity for someone with strong customer service experience, particularly in managing expectations, calming frustrated clients, and finding solutions under pressure. You don’t need housebuilding experience—if you’ve got a strong backbone, good empathy and communication, and can keep things organised, we want to hear from you.
While this is a part-time role (Tuesday–Thursday), there may be potential for full-time hours in the future as the business continues to grow—though this is not guaranteed.
What You’ll Be Doing
*
Speaking to homeowners and booking in remedial works
*
Dealing with complaints and customer issues calmly and professionally
*
Coordinating with contractors and internal teams to resolve issues quickly
*
Using internal systems (COINS now, moving to Dynamics) to track cases and progress
*
Helping maintain the team’s excellent customer journey and 5-star reputation

Excellent objection handling and empathy skills
*
Confidence dealing with difficult or upset customers
*
Strong written and verbal communication
*
Well-organised, reliable, and solution-focused
*
Experience in housing, repairs, construction or similar environments is a bonus—but not required
*
Comfortable using systems like Excel, CRMs, or scheduling tools
