Murray Recruitment is recruiting for a Customer Service Coordinator to join our client’s dynamic and growing team based in Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Managing customer enquiries, pricing requests, delivery updates, and sample orders via phone and email.
  • Processing quotations, sales orders, schedules, and sample requests efficiently.
  • Verifying details such as addresses, pricing, discounts, product availability, and transport options.
  • Handling credit requests and preparing credit notes where necessary.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records within the CRM system.
  • Liaising with transport teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery scheduling.
  • Supporting sales efforts by promoting stock and encouraging increased sales in collaboration with external teams.
  • Performing order book management and schedule clearance tasks.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive, enthusiastic attitude with the ability to work well under pressure and use initiative.
  • Evidence of effective teamwork and collaboration.
  • An excellent telephone manner and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and email systems.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Flexibility to attend training events, which may involve travel and overnight stays.
