Data and Exams Manager – Derby City
Location: Derby City
Contract Type: Full-Time
Start Date: September 2025
Pay Rate: £100–£130 per day
Experience Required: School-based data management and exam administration
Overview:
Education Personnel are currently recruiting for a Data and Exams Manager on behalf of a well-organised and high-achieving secondary school in Derby City. This full-time position is set to begin in September 2025 and is crucial to the effective administration of school data systems and examination cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage exam timetables, entries, access arrangements, and results
* Oversee the use and maintenance of data management systems (e.g., SIMS)
* Generate accurate reports and student data analysis for SLT
* Coordinate the training and deployment of invigilators
* Ensure all JCQ and DfE regulations are followed
The Ideal Candidate:
* Has previous experience in a similar school-based role
* Demonstrates strong organisational, analytical, and ICT skills
* Is familiar with school data platforms such as SIMS or Arbor
* Works well under pressure and under tight deadlines
* Communicates clearly with staff and external partners
